![]() Access Points for student with significant cognitive disabilities have been created in Language Arts and Math. No Child Left Behind (NCLB) focuses on high expectations for ALL students. It allows for alternate means of assessment for the small population of students with significant cognitive disabilities. This first step in access is exposure to instruction. We have to give students the opportunity to learn. The Sunshine State Standards-revised access points captures the core intent but describes a different level of complexity.
